Group Exercise Fitness Trainer
My running story started as a way to start the journey to stop smoking. It is exceptionally difficult to be a runner and smoker at the same time! I started smoking at 13 and was part of a family of smokers. My first time trying to quit was at 15 years old! Running definitely helped curb my cravings, while also being a great emotional outlet. There is nothing so freeing as pushing your limits and breathing fresh air into your lungs! I have since quit smoking and have been a non-smoker for many years now. I run 5ks, relays, and fun runs, am a Group Fitness instructor and health coach, and I truly believe that I can do anything I can set my mind to. You can too!!
